Getting Over - Catastrophe Theory (2004)

Video installation made at Fundación Telefónica in 2004 arranged in two rooms, the first with acrylic photographic objects and a hidden camera and the second room with 4-channel projections.

The play is based on Jean Baudrillard's texts about the end of the world. In the Catastrophe Theory, a moment of calm precedes the catastrophe, this seems to repeat itself incessantly in our lives, all changes generate a rupture and a new beginning.

The viewers confronts themselves, previously recorded in the first room, with a chroma key behind them and played a minute later in the second room on the collapsing glaciers. The viewers find themselves reflected on the screen in the midst of destruction.
